I recently got home (at 3 am this morning) from a trip to California. I'll try to update you on most of the important points.
The bible conference was amazing. The meetings were enjoyable and food for the soul.
The socializing was needed. It made me wish Nadia was around, but I dealt with that.
The beach party was perfect. If you don't believe in perfect, then it was ALMOST perfect.
Tijuana was an experience. I didn't take my camera, which I regret. I received a proposal for marriage from a man selling goods. He said we should get married and open a church together. I told him it might be an issue because I don't speak Spanish, he then said he could translate. I informed him our relationship just wasn't going to work out and tried to walk a little faster. He then pointed at one of the guys in the group and asked me if the Lord told me to marry the guy, would I? I told him that we would have to wait and see what the Lord tells me, and so far I haven't heard that. We successfully handed out a lot of Spanish calendars and tracts, ate about 300 tacos, bought some cheap junk, and had a fun time. I must say though, that Tijuana didn't seem very sanitary.
This here, is Papa Gooding. Before I left he loaded "Daddy Long Legs" by Jean Webster and a few other books onto my ereader, which I am thoroughly enjoying! Him and his family also opened his home to about a million young people after conference, took us to Tijuana AND treated us at In-n-out. I am very thankful for this, It was a blast!

These are some nice footprints. They're not mine. I don't have those lovely arches, my feet are un-beautifully flat.
And this is Abi. Drinking coke at the taco place in Tijuana. Funny moment with Abi: Her and I sitting on her curb, in the middle of the night, chatting. Up walks a skunk. Oh dear. Imagine the memories we would have made if we had been sprayed!!??
